Dear Hankinson,

15th December, 1924.

In reply to your letter of the 15th December

enclosing a copy of a telegram from the Government of Hong

Kong about Major Cassel, Lord Curzon asks me to let you

know that he knows nothing whatever about this officer and

the only excuse Major Cassel can give for using Lord Curzon's

name would be that of some action taken by the Foreign Office

at a time when Lord Curzon was Foreign Secretary.

W.C.Hankinson Esq.

Yours Sincerely,

Pembroke Wicks
